Watch out, it’s almost criminal that they will take your money and tell you to naff off - I’ve rarely had a good experience at a Boots pharmacy. I was away from home and had to make an order for a prescription. They only gave me half the order, so they left me short and only left me enough for 7 days as they were small dose tablets, but still took my money without giving me a full order of 28 days. When I asked to have a few extra to help me as it was an emergency, one of the women working there was very rude to me and questioned whether I even come from the U.K. Surely some lenience can be applied to someone who’s short of important medication and make an exception by providing me with a few extra days supply. Or they could have pointed me in the right direction to another pharmacy in the area that can complete the order. There’s no patient care they took my money and were happy they only gave me 7 days worth , and I’m learning more and more not to use Boots pharmacies. I will be complaining to Boots about this as this is not the first time this has happened

I came to pick a prescription. The lady at the counter said to wait 20 minutes. 2 - 3 minutes later, she said that they have to go to lunch and that now I will have to wait an hour instead of the 20 minutes and if I do not want to wait to rather go to Waitrose's pharmacy. I said fine. So, I went to Waitrose's pharmacy after being encouraged by the Boots staff to go to their competition. However, once I am at Waitrose's pharmacy, they tell me that Boots has to release the prescription to be able to get it at their pharmacy. I had to go back to Boots to get my prescription released. This whole process was a total waste of time. This experience speaks of the rudeness, incompetence and lack of customer service skills of the prescription team. Especially of their pharmacist Patricia. Who should not have accepted to provide my prescription if they had to go lunch and at least release the prescription for me to go anywhere else. So, how come they take my prescription, make me wait for a bit and then later kick me out somewhere else without even facilitating that. Awful service. If you have a prescription, ask your GP for it to be available somewhere else like Waitrose's pharmacy. Better staff with better customer service and attention

I bought a few items in Boots Howard centre WGC . The staff at the tills are so disrespectful it shouldn’t have to be tolerated in this day and age . I went to pay with a fifty pound note that I just taken out of Nat West Bank in the town about one hour previous. It took 3 staff members to inspect my money passing it through machine , putting it up to the light feeling it ect . I actually felt like a criminal I honestly did , I said to a mature member of staff I just got it from the bank “ that’s where the forgeries are coming from “ was her reply . The young girl that was serving me just gave me my change no offer of a bag no explanation on my guarantee as I had just bought an electric product . There is no doubt in my mind I received preferential treatment when they heard my beautiful Irish accent . But on a serious note it was a dreadful experience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Boots Pharmacy at Welwyn Garden Centre, specifically the one located at Howard's Gate. I must say, my experience there exceeded all expectations when it comes to customer care and expertise. Whenever I had a question or needed clarification about a particular product, they were more than happy to explain everything in detail, ensuring I felt confident and well-informed. On one occasion, I needed a prescription urgently, and the pharmacist made every effort to expedite the process. They promptly contacted my doctor, ensured the prescription was ready on time, and even went as far as to provide me with additional information on how to properly take the medication. The overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store contribute to a pleasant shopping experience. In summary, I cannot recommend Boots Pharmacy at Welwyn Garden Centre, Howard's Gate enough. The staff and pharmacists are exceptional in their commitment to providing excellent customer care. Their knowledge, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and reassuring. I lost my earings on 3th of June at Howard Centre. WH Smith found one in the same day and I could not find the other one till today. Jane, the lovely professional lady has found it later and kept it for me till today. I am so satisfied same as always in the past for her friendly great proffecional customer service. She searched all the idle with me when I lost it and also when she found it she kept it for more than a month for me. I would like to say my appreciate to her and hopefully this review will make her happy as she made my day today . Thank you so much Jane.
